Captioning with ViaVoice and CPC SOFTWARE - have problems with doubled numbers other issues - can you help?

I work for a television station. I have been in school for quite some time building speed so that I can caption their programs via steno machine. In the mean time, we are utilizing Via Voice with cpc captioning software for our live programming. What I am wondering is this. More on than off, when I dictate numbers, it doubles them.
