GFT Group Inc. seeks beta testers for the Petrana Presentation Controller. The Petrana Presentation Controller is a Microsoft Windows software program that enables presenters to control PowerPoint presentations entirely by voice command, to jump to slides in any order as needed, to bring up answers to frequently asked questions immediately without paging through irrelevant slides or fumbling with the slide sorter, to launch external programs and video, and to trigger rhetorical questions asked by the computer for dramatic effect. User defined voice cues enable the presenter to control the presentation without interfering with the flow of the spoken presentation. The Petrana Presentation Controller improves communication by enabling the presenter to adapt the presentation to audience requirements during the presentation and by enabling the presenter to ask questions and interact with the audience.

Adondo Personal Audio Link -- Final Beta
Submitted by ChrisMcConnell on Thu, 06/01/2006 - 12:05.Hi All--
We've wrapped our final beta. You can download it here: www.adondo.net.
I'm not aware of any software package that takes MS Speech (SAPI) quite as far as Personal Audio Link does.
PAL voice-enables your PC (command & control), and allows remote access by telephone (VoIP). You can use PAL locally as well: either by micorophone or by mouse-click.
Dragon NS8: is it possible to add Correction Window to the mouse context menu?
Submitted by snsok on Wed, 11/23/2005 - 15:42.NS8.1 Preferred on a WinXP machine, Word 2002.
Is it possible to add a menu point to the right mouse button that will open the correction window with the mouse? I like to do my corrections with keyboard/mouse (and this laptop doesn't have a dedicated number keypad).
I would mainly need this for use in MS Word but I would like to have it in Outlook, so I guess doing it with some sort of Word macro isn't a solution.
For several reasons, I had to remove Vocola from my system, so I can't use that as a solution either (if there happened to be a way to do it with Vocola).
