Happy ending to damaged disk saga
You may recall my chagrin when I accidentally got solvent on disk 1 of my new DNS 9 upgrade and ran into a stone wall with Nuance's tech support staff for a replacement. A sympathetic rep in sales finally told me that I could replace the disk for a $30 charge (apparently because the replacement disk has to be customized with my key number).
Well, I received two back-to-back e-mails (separated by three hours) from Nuance, one telling me that there was no such thing as a replacement disk and one telling me to authorize a $30 charge and send in my key number for a replacement disk. I ignored the first and acted on the second. In a few days a new set of disks arrived. They installed perfectly and I'm back in business.
MORAL -- Don't believe everything you read in Nuance e-mails.

Heck I think just GETTING
Heck I think just GETTING email from Nuance is an achievement -- good, bad or indifferent!
