Spanish accent
Submitted by James on Fri, 08/18/2006 - 20:24.
I am thinking about trying NaturallySpeaking. Will it get good recognition for an English speaker with a Mexican accent--everything else being equal? (Spanish was my first language.)
Any tips for folks with a Mexican accent?
Thanks. Jim

Over the years we have have trained many speech recognition users successfully who had foreign accents. Some of these were quite severe. Also come to think of it, we'd once train someone with only one vocal cord. More important than the accents is the ability to enunciate the English words clearly and not slur them together.
