VOIP
This Strictly Speaking has nothing to do with voice recognition -- and yet it does have communication over the net (and as not using the keyboard is what voice recognition is all about, in my opinion it is connected).
I expect that most of you would like a smaller phone bill. I have been searching for the best deal in France, but it would seem that it is not as good as old-fashioned telephoning, despite what they say. Also something which I notice that they are geographically orientated, which I suppose is all to do with the commercial side/language side. Vonage seems to be the best quality -- and extremely cheap. In Europe and in France in particular the price for communication with cellphones is still very high. I phoned up vonage and apparently I could have vonage in France, but it would involve a certain complexity to get this set up. Apparently, the best quality Voips, require some hardware as opposed to so-called soft phones which just need a program. Jajah, I suggest everybody should try -- 5 minutes for free, and no downloading of anything, they call is Web activated telephoning -- it is quite unique.
I have of course, my own Voip called Wengo I think you can use it in America you do need a small box, and the prices are very attractive in the mobile area. However their consistency on the technical level needs much to be desired. I would appreciate any persons view on this subject and/or or a site dedicated to impartial evaluations on this piece of tech.
Best greetings to all, Mark Fletcher.
