"Side-by-side configuration incorrect" for Vista Speech

I was excited to finally get Vista beta 2 installed and try out it's speech recognition, but I receive the following error when I try to launch it on a clean install:
"The application has failed to start because it's side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log for more detail."
There is no entry for this in the application event log. Has anyone else received this error? Does anyone know where the .local file for speech recognition is? Perhaps if I delete this file to turn off side-by-side mode, it will work...

Did you get your question answered offline or somewhere else? If not, you should send an email to lis...@microsoft.com -- Nearly the entire development team that worked on SR in Vista (and many more people) will get your message and I'm sure somebody there can help you out.
I haven't personally run into that message, but I'm sure someone on that alias can help you out.
