Save The Internet
You may be wondering why I've categorized this as Technology News.
It's simple actually. The Internet runs on technology. Anything affecting that technology is news.
Here in the States, our politicians have seen the need, due to prodding by big telecom companies, to try to restrict our access to the internet.
When are these guys going to stop? If we had a pile of ice cubes land from Mars, they'd want to legislate them into water. They can't seem to do a thing about the lives of the people that voted for them but they are sure helping those that can grease their dirty little palms (money). If you think I have a dislike for politicians, you're right. I don't hate them, but I think they should bathe more regularly and with a stronger soap. 
Now they are wanting to take freedoms away from the Internet by allowing your ISP to regulate who you can shop with, what sites you can visit etc.
