Here's a little "parlor trick"... (warning: flame)
Call Plts on the phone, explain to the salesperson you are assembling a 1,500 seat call center, and you'd like to consider buying CS-50's for say, 1,000 of those stations.
when you are quickly whisked to someone who's capable of such a sale, press them for microphone element data on the CS-50. Explain to them you are using end-to-end VoIP and your gateway allows
16khz to pass, you want as much "richness" to your agent's voice quality as possible.
Once you get the various element's spec's.. Google them.
But don't stop there.. ask about all the company's headset solutions for your call center.
One thing I destest most (and I'm in the industry) is manufacturer's hyperbole.
Get the facts.

I'd guess "Plts" might stand for "Plantronics", but that's just a guess. A second guess is that you are claiming that the maker of the CS-50 is making excessive claims for its capabilities, but that too is just a guess.
A proper flame ought to have enough specificity to lay some heat on someone -- otherwise its just plain gas.

Yes Bruce,
I meant the manufacturer that refuses to release accurate spec's on it's microphones, particularly their wireless lines.

Sounds like I must have been in a bad mood that day! Sorry to have sounded so peevish.
