Really about input, but I'll input here ;-)

This is a killer site and software. It makes me want to create a support site for my stuffs... But thats another subject.
My slightly off topic question is not about SR per say... It's about speech input.
Short story.
Since Dragon works so well, I gave up an arm and a leg, reaching all the way up to my wallet to build a one-man custom AV studio.
(It's pretty slick and as computerized as you would expect from Star Trek.) And I have sound input issues to design for...
The gig is multiple cameras (all pre-programmed switching) so I cannot use shotgun mikes on the camera as the audio would keep switching with the (camera) scene changes. So I am thinking lavier mikes, stereo. ( I got two wireless transmitters.) That will let me walk around the stage and not have volume change. Great. Now how to get that into the PC?
My first experiments with Audigy cards was OK. And I want the sound to have the quality matching the higher-end 3-CCD cameras. So, I'm thinking about a pair of sound pods, USB to take the recievers. Any thoughts? I've come too far to sound like Rin Tin-Tin.
TIA, Tcat

TCat,
Sounds very ambitious and I'm sure you'll get it working. I wonder if using a wireless mike would work here? I think you know all the candidates and their prices.
