New Firefox Released

For anyone that's using Firefox, they have released version 1.5 of it. It appears to render the pages here on Speech Computing much better than the old 1.0.7 I was using. Particularly the width problem seems to have been fixed.

It did disable several of my extensions saying they are incompatible with the new version. It allows an update check, but there were no updates on them. At least the ones I use all the time are still working.

The update is available at http://www.mozilla.com/ .

One side effect of upgrading is that I lost my automatic login for this site, but not as yet for any other site. Does anyone know what that's all about?

I just decided to have a further look into Mozzilla Firefox 1.5 to make sure that all my settings remained, and they did. I lost absolutely nothing.

Basically I think the set up simply upgraded 1.0.7 without changing any personal settings.

As I said, none of my other auto logins remained unchanged, so your suggestion is a non-starter from the get-go. All I did was run the upgrade, so whatever happened happened without my intervention. I'd be interested in any ideas you have about how that might have happened.
