Help with headset

I need some help to try and figure out how I can make this work. What I have is an amigo AMI-IA56 voice modem. I am trying to use a headset with this modem but the problem is I need to use the headset for my speech recognition software (DNS6) because of my disability. So I have my sound card which has:
line in
speaker out
microphone
The modem has:
speaker
microphone
So how would it be possible to be able to use my headset both for the speech recognition and answer the phone with the voice modem function. I have plenty of software that should work but I just don't know how to go about hooking them up correctly so that they will function as they should.
Any help would be gratefully appreciated.
