Problems With PCOM
At work, where I use NaturallySpeaking Professional 9, my PC is tied into a huge mainframe, and downloads modify our system nightly. The mainframe screens I use most often were created through IBM PCOM.
Starting about 5 months ago, words I dictate are almost never transferred into these screens, though my words show up in the yellow results box. I can dictate into the Dictation Box and transfer, but this is not practical, since each screen has 3-20 fields and I go through hundreds of screens in a day. I know one other NS user at work, and he has having the same problem. There is no problem dictating into any Microsoft programs nor most other programs. Has anyone else had a similar problem? Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Larry R.

KnowBrainer 2008 includes
KnowBrainer 2008 includes several commands which you can read about in the EMR section (Page 20) of our KnowBrainer Manual but since you are using DNS Pro, you could optionally re-create these commands. One of the advantages of DNS Pro is the ability to create a command that will allow you to tab to the next field and pull up the Dictation Box or Notepad. Then from within the Dictation Box, paste the text that you just dictated into the appropriate field, tab to the next field and repeat the procedure. This command procedure doesn't Select-&-Say enable an application but is a viable workaround.
