Problem with DNS Pro <html> Command

I noticed that DNS Pro has a (an?) <html> command for inserting HTML codes.  I thought I might modify its List to add some of the codes that are allowed here on Speech Computing, but when I try to save the modified list it balks on the second line of the list:

</A>\STOP ANCHOR

saying that it is not a valid value.  Indeed, if you merely open the list for inspection and then click on "OK", you'll get the same problem -- so apparently it's not going to let you re-save the list that has previously been saved!

I don't know what magic Nuance used in the first place to create the script, nor what the problem is, so I would appreciate any enlightenment that might help out a non-programmer.
