The SpeechMike should work just fine. The question is, will Dragon NaturallySpeaking 7 work so well with such an underpowered system?

only if I close all other programs. Would DNS 8 work at all on such a system? I would love to have the increased recognition power. (BTW, Thanks Martin!) - Dennis

I sincerely doubt Dragon NaturallySpeaking version 8 would work better than Dragon seven on that system. Also, I see no compelling reason to move to Dragon version 8 in terms of accuracy. New users may find it more accurate initially, but longtime users have not noticed much of a benefit in general.
