better mouse grid with DNS 9?
I'm looking for a way to get improved mouse positioning functionality, e.g. to project and use a more fine-grained mousegrid. There's old information around about 2 products, msgrid and hippocampus mouse, but the former doesn't seem to be available anymore and the latter allegedly doesn't work with DNS 9.5. Is there anything like these around that works with 9.5? If msgrid works with 9.5, is there any way to still get it?
I've flared up my RSI and have had to switch from "do most things without the mouse" to "do everything without the mouse". Mostly I'm able to utilize keystrokes and built-in dragon functionality, but once in awhile I encounter something where nothing but the mouse will work.
Thanks,
Dana

I've got a copy
I haven't tried it with version 9, but I saved what I downloaded. If you'll find a way to tell me your e-mail address without encouraging spam, I can send it to you.

P.S. Looks like you can still get it at http://speechwiki.org/downloads/mousegrid.zip
got it, thanks!
Too bad it doesn't have the repeated repositioning of the built-in mousegrid. But it still looks like it could be useful.
Thanks,
Dana
If you haven't already tried
If you haven't already tried it, you might look into using the Cirque touchpad -- specifically the models labeled Smart Cat, which seem more responsive to me than those labeled Cruise Cat. I would also recommend paying a bit more to get a USB model because serial and PS/2 ports are getting scarce.
Not everyone benefits from using a touchpad, but I find it to be infinitely more gentle than using a mouse. Five minutes of moderate mouse use will pretty much cause me pains running from from my hand to my armpit, while I can use a touchpad all day without a problem.
