How do I read recent posts?

Clicking on 'recent posts' in the menu will give you a page that showing the type of post, subject of the post, the author of the post, how many replies have been made to the post and the time elapsed since the last response. These are in newest first order. Many subscribers refer to the 'recent posts' entry as "the tracker". You may bookmark the 'recent posts' page and return there for easy reading.

Note there are two tabs at the top of the 'recent posts' page. One is for 'all recent posts', the other is 'my recent posts'. If you wish to see only responses to your posts, click on 'my recent posts' and it would show you any replies or comments you had.

Type of post

The type of post will show you where on the website the post originated. This can indicate a forum topic, a story, personal blog entry, Amazon node, and more. Most of the entries here are pretty explanatory of what they do.

Post

This indicates the subject of the original post or article. An asterisk after the subject line denotes a new article.

Author

This indicates the author of the original post. Authors of comments or replies are not shown on this page.

Replies

The shows the number of replies that have been made to the post. If there are any new replies or comments to the post, it will give the count in this column. Clicking on 'x new' will take you to the most recent reply or comment. New comments and replies are indicated by the word 'new', colored red, in the upper right hand corner of each comment or reply.
