Text not appearing in document

I am using Dragon Speaking Naturally Preferred 9.5 in Word 2007 with Windows 2007. An "interesting" problem has suddenly developed. The text appears in the box as I dictate but does not appear in the document-the text box just gets larger and larger! It is an inconsisent problem. Any ideas? I have not changed any hardware/software since this started.
