How do I make a script to edit scripts?

How do I make a script to edit certain scripts? I've already got it mostly working. It will find any script name you have, as long as it has a simple name (more below). What I mean is it does these steps:

1. opens the command browser,

2. navigates focus to where it needs to be,

3. types the script name,

4. opens the command (by pressing enter),

5. also edits the command in this example.

So already most of the code is working, but I'm stuck on one critical component. It can't find lists. This code doesn't find < > if they're anywhere in the command name. Their presence contaminates the entire script. however without any list, the script works perfectly! seemingly, anyway.

Can anyone help me? I would like to edit all my scripts, even ones that have lists. By voice I mean. if this can't find these certain script names, then this script is at least half useless. I'll have to resort to using hands or waiting between steps. The majority of my commands use lists actually, so this command is mostly useless at the moment to me. That was point of me buying this.

if you import these, you can just run it. It should be harmless. Try it, I promise it's fun! this finds the samples that came with NaturallySpeaking. In case you deleted them, I have included the two I use here. The wait times used are appropriate for my system, all 0.3 seconds.

I don't think you can access

I don't think you can access a script's list via a Pro script. But your work may not be in vain -- I think you might be able to do this in Vocola and/or Unimacro.

BTW, I think you might get more responses more quickly if this topic were posted in the "Dragon Macro Programming" forum.

SayWhatPro

I know this isn't the answer you want, but doing something like this is a lot easier in SayWhatPro. The Command Browser has quite a few flaws, and SayWhatPro makes command creation and editing much easier. I was without SayWhatPro for a couple of months recently and really suffered without it.
