Can't get rid of 'e-mail'

Here's another one...

Vocabulary editor. Delete 'e-mail'

(I have the British dictionary, but it has 'e-mail' not 'email', I've added 'email')

I dictate 'the email' DNS comes up with 'Gmail' I go to correct it, go to spell (as an easy way to train both words), and train them.

In the vocabulary editor, 'e-mail' is back and DNS will use it every time.

How do I kill it for ever? This is (very, very) repeatable.
