DNS: Voice data recovery?

I am using DNS 9.5 in Word while translating with Wordfast (wordfast.net). Wordfast, a translation memory program, has a feature that allows me to search the translation memory in use and in doing so opens a second Word page. When I copy some data from the second page and return to the main page, DNS (as shown by the Dragon bar) goes for a few seconds into recovering voice data (a literal translation from the Spanish message). I cannot write to the main page until the process ends.

Any ideas as to what to do with this lag would be appreciated.
