Unimacro ini file strategy
It is not quite clear how to handle custom ini file modifications. For example, when I recently upgraded to unimacro 3.4 I seem to have lost my own folder aliases from the folders ini file. According to http://qh.antenna.nl/unimacro/installation/inifile... upgrading an installation should not have overwritten my changes. Perhaps I did something wrong during the upgrade?
Currently I have the following directory structure in my unimacro folder:
_inifiles: Empty
...
enx_inifiles: Contains a variety of files, if I modify the folder configuration file using the command "edit folders", the change is reflected in the _folders.ini in here
...
sample_ini: Contains a few subdirectories, one of which is enx_inifiles, which also contains _folders.ini
...
I tried replacing enx_inifiles/_folders.ini with my old one. "edit folders" brought up new file, but my aliases were not recognised. I stopped/restarted mic, no effect. I restarted dragon, and then unimacro and vocola were 'dead', i.e. no macros were recognised.
I'll restore _folders.ini from 3.4 release, restart PC, and manually update _folders.ini, guess that will fix it. BUT, in general, I should expect enx_inifiles to never be overwritten by upgrade?

Hello Per, Your own
Hello Per,
Your own ini_files should not be overwritten, and are not, as they are still in enx_inifiles.
The problem seems to be the language of you speechprofiles (enx) is not captured correct, as you see a folder _inifiles.
So this must be fixed.
As I am in a mess with fixing/rebuilding the installer/configure functions, I must fix that first.
I suppose when you copy your inifiles into _infiles you can work with stuff you already had.
Greetings, Quintijn
No rush
I keep backups, good luck with the installer that is much more important!
