ViaVoice SDK, SMAPI Grammar Test Tool

I inheritied some voice recognition test code that isn't working as documented. The IBM ViaVoice recognition engine is missing words/phrases that are in the grammar file.
When I use the SMAPI Grammar Test Tool and load the .fsg grammar file that the code is using, it has no problem recognizing all the phrases.
Does anyone know where I can get the configuration settings or the source code for this tool?

IBM ViaVoice SDK Version in use.
I probably should have mentioned that I am using IBM ViaVoice SDK version 10.5. On a Windows XP operating system.
Thanks for the links, they are helpful to understand more on voice recognition, but don't get me what I am looking for.
