Here we are...

The upgrade didn't go very smooth and we may have some rough edges at this point. Let me know of anything you find that you think is odd. This was a pretty major upgrade so I'm sure we'll have some things that are 'off'. For one we won't have any 'smiley' images until I import some so you'll see odd things in messages that used to be little cartoons.

Skip, When I hit the sidebar

Skip,

When I hit the sidebar "Recent Posts", the next screen is the menu but it looks for user name and password. It did this three times on me.

The "Recent Posts" at the bottom of each thread has disappeared.

To help with the user name and password, you may want to log out and back in. The cookies may be different as this is a much later software version.

As to the View Recent Posts at the bottom, I've just not gotten there yet.

Thanks!

Update: View Recent Posts has been returned.

My login now hangs around.

My login now hangs around. Had to set my internet security settings to accept all cookies. Happy now.

Using IE 7 (yes - THAT one!) I had something similar happen to me when I went to the home page on here. It instantly logged me out. Frustrating to have your own website do that!

After investigation it appeared that I should delete the cookies and try again. That seems to have corrected this so far.

I haven't tried this in Firefox yet to see if it does something similar.

I run a lot of different

I run a lot of different browsers so I can see what others see. The only one I cannot have more than one of is IE. You either have one version or the other of that one.

The latest Firefox upgrade (couple of days ago) seems to be a bit unstable for me. It keeps locking up and becoming unresponsive. Never had that before with it.

I have had absolutely no problems with the upgrade. I yesterday used it using a lot of tabs, as well as new windows, but with the awful result that I lost where I was and had to keep opening tabs and windows to find what I was looking for Smiling

Is it possible to have a number of simultaneous windows open on screen in Firefox?

Yes you can have a LOT of windows and a lot of tabs in each window open in Firefox. It can drive you crazy!

How do you create split screens in Firefox? I cannot find it in any of the menus.
