NatLink/Vocola/Python Quit

After working for a time, Natlink Vocola now quits on any attempt to dictate with the message:

"Vcl2py.exe has generated errors".

Then it reports in a popup windows errors on three lines of "_vocola_main.py", and an attempt to write the errors to a log file, and an inability to write to the log files because of protection, and zero byte log file is generated. The popup does not say what is wrong with those lines.

I have Dragon Preferred 9.5, under Windows 2000.

I uninstalled Natlink/Vocola, and reinstalled twice with Version 1.5 of the Natlink/Vocola .msi installer.
Still, the same error appears, so the only way I can dictate is to uninstall NL/Vocola, and not reinstall it.

How can I get NL/Vocola working and out of the error generation mode?

I'm afraid I don't know what

I'm afraid I don't know what could be wrong. In the past, I have had some problems with my installations from time to time, but uninstalling and reinstalling natlink and vocola has always resolved it. Come to think of it, on occasion I've also had to reinstall Dragon. Since you are getting these messages suddenly, I guess you are already trying to figure out what changed between when it worked and now. Good luck!
