DNS 9-Preferred Accuracy Poor for 13 yr. Child

My 13 yr. old son has cerebral palsy and uses DNS 9. Accuracy is good (80%)on the desktop right after Wizard training. But after the first Microsoft WORD document is dictated, the acuracy goes down to 50% with the 2nd WORD doc. Is this because we saved the changes from the first doc and DNS is saving those changes (changes were not "Correct" command? He has a good microphone, good internal sound card and his speech is good.

Also, we do all the same on the laptop BUT he is trained in a small room without carpeting at school. After training he only gets 50% accuracy in this small room with no excess noise. Is this small room the cause for the poor Wizard training results and low accuracy?

Thanks.

(Which mike? which sound

(Which mike? which sound card?)

Did you save the user files at any time before beginning the second document?

Also, we do all the same on the laptop BUT he is trained in a small room without carpeting at school

it could be the acoustics of that small rooom without carpeting, yes. But also you may have an inferior sound system on the laptop
