VV Melennium Install error

I've tried to install my viavoice program, old as it is, and get the error "RC=10 system detected an error with audio source. Any advice? Joe |

What version of ViaVoice are you using?
What OS system eg. Xp, 2000, 98 etc.?
Is it a Desktop or Notebook?
What soundcard do you have?

ViaVoice Milennium Pro USB, Desktop, Windows 2000, Diamond soundmax 5.1/ 16 bit soundcard.

Sounds like a Soundcard or
Sounds like a Soundcard or headset problem.
The built in soundcard in Desktops are not usually that succesful. Have you access to an add on soundcard, such as Soundblaster Live? It is usually succesful. I have had the basic one (cheapest) for 5 years and it has never given any problems.
Alternatively, have you an USB soundcard, such as an Andrea that should have come with the headset? If so try that and reset up your Audio.
Millenium should work without any problem.
