Web surfing problems with new Toshiba

I recently bought a Toshiba Satellite U 200 with much more RAM and hard drive memory than the IBM T40I've been using for the last four years, and I upgraded to Dragon 9.0. Speech recognition is comparable to, not better than, my T40 -- but to my horror I discover that none of my voice commands for net surfing have any effect. I normally use the mouse grid to position the cursor exactly where I want it, and then mark and double-click to get the proper response. On the Toshiba mouse grid fails to mark anything, and the "move mouse down four" command also has no effect. Why should this be the case?

Does the new Toshiba have IE7 installed? If so, you probably should upgrade to DNS 9.5

Not that it solves your problem, but for most pages I find it very easy to use Mozilla Firefox with the mouseless browsing extension. Each link is tagged with a numerical ID, and you can surf by saying "click ". You can find the mouseless browsing extension at: http://www.rudolf-noe.de/MouselessBrowsing.htm

Exceptions to this are pages, often by Google unfortunately, that don't use straightforward HTML.
