I followed the instructions from vocola.net but even built-in commands don't seem to respond.

Go to the Configure Natlink
Go to the Configure Natlink & Vocola programme (you should find it under NatPython & Vocola) and you should defintely see whether Natlink is enabled, if not try re-enabling.
Incidentally since I upgraded to version 9 Vocola no longer works on my system although unimacro does, I haven't had time to investigate more thoroughly but I suspect the path being used may be wrong.

Hi Jur
I am not certain if you got my post from the Knowbrainer forum, so I will repeat it here.
A couple of thoughts from the information from your post, did you install the .netFramework and the ActiveStatePython?
Also, I note that you are using Dragon 7, you might be better off uninstalling the latest version and going with the NatPython v1.10 package.(http://speechwiki.org/NL/HomePage.html)
If you let us know how you get on with our suggestions, we will be better able to help.

Just make sure that you are running 9.5, if not do the Natspeak update before you reinstall Vocola etc.
If you install all the packages in the order specified, you should not have a problem

I now installed DNS 9.5 on a notebook (pavilion dv6318).
vocola seems to be working now, only DNS itself is reacting very slow now. this machine is very fast for a notebook: 1.7 ghz duo core 1 GB ddr 677mhz. but maybe not fast enough for v9?
