Via Voice "clicks"

Our fairly old installation of ViaVoice 10.0 has started to pick up some background noice and clicks which it interprets as "it" or "but". These are often at the beginning or end of a sentence. Any help and suggestions will be appreciated. Thank you in advance. Mike Collins, Yakima WA |

It is possible your microphone cable has a short. Tested by running a Windows sound recorder recording test. Flex the cable at different points as you are talking.
