Site: Computing Out Loud

Link: http://www.out-loud.com/index.html (opens in new page)

Description:

This site is intended to help people using speech recognition software, whatever the variety, and to do so without the filters of vendors. We have our own filters, of course, so please read critically.

Computing Out Loud is focused on desktop speech recognition in general (that is, not voice control of cars or phones!), and we pay fairly close attention to the major products -- Dragon NaturallySpeaking and ViaVoice -- while keeping an eye on Microsoft in case it takes over everything.

These pages are brought to you by Susan Fulton, longtime user of speech recognition and assorted gadgets for easier, less painful computing.
