Creating a Blog or Blog Entry
A blog is a regularly updated journal or diary made up of individual posts shown in reversed chronological order. A blog is tightly coupled to the author so each user will have his 'own' blog.
Users may create their blog merely by posting content to their blog. For subsequent blog posts use the procedure below. If you wish to post from remote you may use the w.bloggar (freeware) software. Setup instructions for using it with Speech Computing are here.
- Login
- On the right side, click create content
- Click on blog entry.
- Enter a title where it says "Title:" and your text where it says "Body:".
- When you are through with your blog entry, you may click the Receive notification of replies to this personal blog entry checkbox if you wish to be so notified.
- If everything is as you wish click on "Preview" and make sure it's how you want it.
- If you are satisfied with your blog post, click on "Submit" and you are done.
- If you are not satisified with your blog post, make the appropriate edits and then go back to step 6.
